SFPD Tears Down Anti-Chron Posters
When people put up flyers on the Chron building, macho cops busted in and tore down the signs. (see more after picture)
When homeless protesters demanded to know why the cops were tearing down their flyers and destroying the free speech they are supposed to uphold, the cops answered that: "We are not tearing down flyers. We are removing illegal vandalism." The group laughed at this obvious orwellian doublespeak. When asked if he thought that cops use selective enforcement, enforcing every small detail against the poor while allowing rich powerful criminals to steal billions from the public, the cop stared blankly and said, "I just do my job." Cops pretend that they are unthinking robots of the law, but in reality they have their own prejudices and they will tear down these posters, but when IBM vandalized this city with their illegal advertisements, the city went into "negotiations" with this multinational conglomerate. all out against the police state!

Can I come to your house, make a lot of noise, and put an offensive poster on YOUR wall? I didn't think so. Why? Because you are full of hatred and censorship?
even if I wasn't a powerful elite, you could still choose to protest me: but you'd just be misguided, and illogical.
the point is direct action is taken against those to whom no other recourse is available.

"Macho"?!?! The guy in the image is pudgy and wearing glasses. How could he "bust in" when the signs were on the outside of the building?

No wonder he stared blankly. How does STREET COP allow "rich powerful criminals to steal billions from the public"?!? What utter nonsense.

Surely the lesson here is to do what IBM did and spray paint clever little signs that can't be easily torn down? Or would that show too much initiative?
>all out against the police state!
Yeah. Right on. Fight the power.
Get a clue.
