Candlelight Vigil
Candlelight Vigil

San Francisco -- Heidi Quante of San Francisco joined with hundreds of people who gathered to remember the people who died when terrorism reached the shores of America today. This candlelight vigil took place at the corner of Powell and Market Streets.
The organizers of the vigil had this message: We stand in mourning for the victims who have died and who are injured in the plane attacks in New York City and Washington as well as the crash in Pennsylvania; we urge all responses to the attacks to be peaceful; and in this time of crisis, we call on the civil liberties of all people to be respected and preserved.
