Since Ariel Sharon instigated the latest round of violence between Palestinians and Israelis 18 months ago, 1625 human being have been killed-- 1265 Palestinians and 360 Israelis. About 22,000 more have been injured and 20% of those will never walk again.

As in all modern wars, most of the victims who are targeted and killed on both sides are civilians. That is something war-lovers and war profiteers do not care about.

Last December, the U.S. was the only country on the UN Security Council to vote against the resolution that condemned both Israeli and Palestinian terrorism. That unfortunate vote has only encouraged Sharon and other warmongers to do more killings.

If Arafat, who has had most of his infrastructure destroyed by the brutal Israeli military and who is now a virtual prisoner is to be held responsible for all Palestinian terrorism, we should equally also hold Sharon responsible for all the Israeli terrorism. Certainly, Sharon is in a much stronger position to control the people on his side of the fence.

For the past 40 years, all American presidents have criticized the Israeli right-wing, illegal settlement policy. Despite this fact and despite the fact that Americans politicians has given over $100 billions of our tax dollars to the Israelis, they have continued to thumb their noses at us.

A more balanced and rational foreign aid policy in the Mideast would be welcomed by most of the world, and this would lead to a reduction in hate and terrorism against Americans.

Have you all learned nothing of mans inhumanity to man? Strangely, yes I believe is violence and war is a viable means of resolution of conflict. But it and always should be the last and final resort.

If this conflicted has proven anything to me it is that as a world power the United States Government is both insolent and delinquent in its supposed obligation toward a better tomorrow. They are just words and hollow words at that. On all fronts of this conflict. How often have you heard the words of the common man? A simple vendor of fruits and vegtables, of taxi drivers, of school teachers, of mothers, of children?

So tell me again how is there a rightness or humane resolution in any of these goings on? As a 1st generation Arab American it's sad to see both Israelis and Palenstines fighting about a strip of land no larger than the state of New Hampshire. Israelis have a homeland, now the Palenstinians have their own. It's a God given right for each of us to have a country to claim. Many people on both sides are dying and if you have any ounce of common sense you'll see it's terrorism on both sides, whether it be a Palstinian suicide bomber or Israeli solder. Give it some thought, I pray for both Arabs and Jews.

It is about time the Palestinians had a homeland, I know Jordan is made up of Palestinians (70%) but how could they live in a country called Jordan right it’s just not right. After all it’s not like in 1947 the UN offered Palestinians a home sate, (almost 50% of Israel). But no the dumb Palestinians chose war, could the great Arabic armies of Allah defeat the holocaust survivors armed only with their own wit. Nope they got there asses kicked, like in 1967, 73, 81 and …. well lets just say every time an Islamic army has fought against a western army in the last 300 years. (Yes these people are truly that pathetic). But what about the Palestinians uprooted in and resettled in 1947, well that is a sad part of life, (just as sad as the Jews living in Arab countries who were uprooted and forced to flee during 1947) But luckily for the Jews, there people resettled them and made them a home in their new country. (Unlike the Arabs who treated there refugees like outcasts, refused to allow them to settle and forced them to live in refugee camps. (refugee camps with apartment complex’s running water and hydro, some refugee camp, if only the real refugee’s had it so well). Why is this? Because Palestinians are noting more than pawns, used by their own so called Arab allies as an excuse for the need to wipe Israel into the sea. Remember after all it’s not like the armies of Allah will be doing that any time soon.
