Let's remember that corporations do continual organizing/propaganda, over decades, even centuries (especially in the case of European multinationals). The US came in to being in challenge to not only monarchy, but to corporate power. In the beginning, corporations were chartered for ony 12 years and were required to be socially responsible. In the 1880's they took advantage of enmancipation to aquire the rights of individuals. Only States charter corporations. Yet the fed acts to protect them.
