Bush disrupted in Stockton

Just moments ago, as Bush was giving his stumbling stump speech in Stockton, CA, a disruption occured. I was watching the speech on CNN and Fox when someone started yelling from the bleachers. All the people sitting behind bush, in the shot, started to stare in amazment up to the left. The cameras never cut to the disturbance, nor did they attempt to explain what was happening.

Bush tried to continuie a few times, but the disruption forced him to stop and look down. Meanwhile, the folks seated behind bnush were looking as if something horrible was taking place. The crowd then began to cheer as (i imagine) the police did what they did to the protesters, and dragged them away.

the truely horrifying thing was that then the crown began chanting get them out get them out, and then errupted into "U.S.A., U.S.A.

I was at the speech. The protester (Ian Goldsmith)was a member of the SSTC (Stockton Save the Trees Coalition). He jumped up during Bush's speech in his tree costume (see photo) and began singing "don't cut me down" to the tune of the Beatle's song "Don't let me down". He was able to yell "Tree Butcher!" "Trees are people too!" and "Boycott Wood!" before being carried away by the Secret Service Goons.

I don't know what happened afterwards because I had to go and bail Ian out of jail.
