AGAINST COUNTER-REVOLUTION;
FOR MILITANT RESISTANCE!

A Message from Concerned Communist Youth

We are on the eve of destruction! Global capitalist imperialism has taken us to new levels in a bloody expansion of its hegemony.

And yet, our fellow comrades in the United States do not respond. Our organizations remain petrified. We play a role that suits our masters.

In the anti-globalization protest, the red youth of North America have given a resurgence to the power that can be found in the streets. The power that is found through the courage of collective action. In Seattle, Quebec, Washington and Los Angeles we showed that we have the ability to create a moment of resistance that gives momentum to our dreams, instead of reverting us to stuffy rooms. The world is being changed in ways that will reverberate for decades!

In San Francisco, organizing of protests against imperialist war are now replacing where we left off with the ill-named "anti-globalization" movement. We are beyond that, towards a globalization of resistance and revolution. In the next few weeks, there are diverse and large protests in the Bay Area: on January 18 and when the war starts.

We will not allow this protest to be directed at barrels full of money! We call on all Communist organizations in the Bay Area to join with those who would continue the protest beyond speeches. We call on all working class and Communist workers to join us as we continue marching during these protests. When the speeches start, OUR MARCH WILL BEGIN.

We will be carrying red flags and meeting up with each other just before any additional marching happens. Usually, this is when the main march reaches its destination and the speeches begin.

We are facing a Global Big Brother Empire who can crush the chances of revolution for the rest of our lives. If this is not the time for us to act, comrades, then when is?

WHO WE ARE: We are a group of 5 people in Berkeley, Oakland and Vallejo who belong to different Communist organizations. We are jointly writing this call in the hopes that other Communists with conscience in the Bay Area will help create historic protests this month.
