Peace March in San Jose 2/15

It was the biggest demonstration in San Jose since the First Gulf war. Organizers estimated there were 3,100. The diverse crowd of protesters marched from Roosevelt Park to Cesar Chavez Plaza downtown. Speakers included Congress Member Zoe Lofgren and Dolores Huerta from the Farmworkers.

TOP: Fiona Murray held a dove aloft in Roosevelt Park.

SECOND: Protesters marched down Santa Clara Street from Roosevelt Park to Cesar Chavez Plaza in downtown San Jose.

MIDDLE: A San Jose policeman faced off with protesters as they marched from Santa Clara Street onto Market Street.

FOURTH: Dolores Huerta of the United Farmworkers Union addressed the crowd.
