Help needed for SFSU rally
Students at S.F. State University ask for help in impressing President Corrigan to take action against the current political environment.
Down from the high of approximately 500 students shortly following the rally and speech ending at noon, approximately 150 students are holding a sit in at the Administration Building.
We need help down here to create a larger presence. Please come down to SFSU (19th @ Holloway) and sit-in with us.
A spokesperson from the police state that no arrests will take place unless anything illegal occurs, altough a couple times we feared they may have changed their minds. The building closes at 10:00, at which point the spokesperson said that the remaining students will be charged with trespassing and may be taken under arrest.
KRON 4 and Univision TV stations had a presence earlier, but whether this gets to the public will have yet to be seen.
