New Documentary:"Neturei Karta: Jews Against Zionism"

by Wendy Campbell
"Zionist is blatant racism", asserts Rabbi Weiss of the Neturei Karta.
“Neturei Karta: Jews Against Zionism” (57 minutes long) Produced by Wendy W. Campbell

Rabbi Weiss, a very effusive and likable man, gives a concise, but thorough, history of Judaism and how Zionism emerged in the late 1890’s. Dressed the traditional Hasidic style of black suit and wide-brimmed felt hat, white shirt and long side curls on each side of his face, he explains why his worldwide organization believes that Zionism is the exact opposite of Judaism, and must be defeated. He speaks candidly about the media black-out of his group’s on-going activism in the Zionist-dominated mainstream media, as well as the intimidation tactics that Zionist groups use to silence criticism of Zionist Israel. For such a heavy topic, Rabbi Weiss manages to infuse some comic relief into his subject matter. For people who believe that all Jews are Zionists, this documentary will be a real eye-opener! It will shock some people to hear Rabbi Weiss query “Who says Hamas is our enemy?” He openly acknowledges the fact that Zionists stole land from the Palestinians for a racist Jewish state, and that Israel should transform from a Jewish state to a state where no one will be oppressed or persecuted against because of their religion, ethnicity or gender. His message to the Christian Zionists is “Thank you, but no thank you!” The interview is packed with information that is rarely, if ever, presented in mainstream media or even in books you can get at bookstores like Barnes and Noble. Those who seek to get a clear picture of Judaism, Zionism and the history of the Palestine-Israel conflict will find this documentary fascinating. Recent scenes from Palestine showing various sections of The Apartheid Wall that Israel is building with U.S. tax dollars and other visible aspects of racist Israeli occupation interlace throughout the Rabbi’s discourse, courtesy of Claire Potts, an activist from the International Women’s Peace Service. The haunting sounds of master Shamanistic flute-player Bodhi add a contemplative, poetic touch to the documentary. Upon purchase of the video, which may also be available on DVD (when I figure out how to do that with my computer), I hereby authorize and encourage you to broadcast it at your local cable access channel, or show it at any gatherings you can organize.

To purchase a VHS copy of this documentary, please send $20 cash, or check/money order to: Wendy Campbell, PO Box 10458, Oakland, CA 94610

The premiere will be at La Pena Cultural Center at the end of April (date to be confirmed) in Berkeley and it will also be shown at the Parkway Theatre in Oakland on Sunday, May 16, from 3 – 5 pm. Film-maker Wendy Campbell will be in attendance and available for Q & A afterwards.

Hamas Covenant 1988

The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement
18 August 1988
In The Name Of The Most Merciful Allah

"The Islamic Resistance Movement consider itself to be the spearhead of the circle of struggle with world Zionism and a step on the road. The Movement adds its efforts to the efforts of all those who are active in the Palestinian arena. Arab and Islamic Peoples should augment by further steps on their part; Islamic groupings all over the Arab world should also do the same, since all of these are the best-equipped for the future role in the fight with the warmongering Jews."

Notice that there is explicit reference to warmongering "Jews" not "Zionists" but Jews.

ALSO:

Many of Hamas's pamphlets have included severe anti-Semitic expressions not just against Israelis or Zionists, but against the Jews in general, with such phrases such as "sons of pigs and monkeys" being the most common. The official organ of the movement, the monthly London-based Filastin al-Muslimah, frequently presents anti-Jewish arguments, usually on a religious basis.

But until a press release made available to the public in 2000, Hamas had not denied the Holocaust, except perhaps in the leaflets issued by some of its local groups. The statement was released on the Hamas website in Arabic; it was not translated in the English section of the site, probably due to the Western resentment of such ideas.

Hamas issued the press release in reaction to the Stockholm conference on the Jewish Holocaust, held in late January 2000, in which several heads of state and officials from many countries participated. The conference emphasized the need to fight the phenomenon of total or partial Holocaust denial by
political movements, historians, or anti-Semitic groups and individuals on an international level.

The Hamas press release represents an escalation in the organization's rhetoric and a hardening of its position toward Israel. But it is also important to view this statement in the context of the declining support by the Palestinian public for Hamas in general and the group's terrorist activity in particular.

An excerpt of this press release follows. It is taken from the official website of Hamas (http://www.palestine-info.org) and is translated from the original Arabic:

Following the special international conference in Stockholm concerning the alleged Jewish Holocaust during World War II, a senior leading member of The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas states the following:

"This conference bears a clear Zionist goal, aimed at forging history by hiding the truth about the so-called Holocaust, which is an alleged and invented story with no basis. . . . The invention of these grand illusions of an alleged crime that never occurred, ignoring the millions of dead European victims of Nazism during the war, clearly reveals the racist Zionist face, which believes in the superiority of the Jewish race over the rest of the nations."

"Not only does this attempt to focus on an alleged story ignore the suffering of our people and disregard the massacres committed by the Zionists against them, such as Dir Yasin, Kafr Qasem, Tanturah, Jerusalem, Hebron and Sabra and Shatila--not to mention the massacres committed by the enemy against the people of our nation, such as in Bahr al-Baqr and Qana, the killing of thousands of Egyptian captives, and so on--but the story itself has no proof. . . . The Zionist entity is using psychological and ideological terrorism through the Stockholm conference and the alleged Nazi Holocaust. . . ."

"We call the free scholars of the world and its vital forces to expose the crimes of global Zionism against our people, our nation, and against all human civilization, and to refute them and not to fear the hostility of the Jews and their ideological terrorism or their influence through which they shut mouths and prevent objective, unbiased scholars from revealing the Zionist claims as lies. By these methods, the Jews in the world flout scientific methods of research whenever that research contradicts their racist interests."

NK, you are sadly mistaken. How can you deny that Hamas hates Jews? The evidence is there for anyone who cares to open their eyes and ears.
by Wendy Campbell
If it isn't my old nemisis: gehrig! ;-)

By the way, to the other post: Hamas does not hate Jews who wish to accept Palestinians as equals. However Hamas does hate Zionists who insist on stealing their land and oppressing them just because they are not Jewish. Seriously now, who can blame them? Even Ghandi didn't have to deal with invaders stealing his land and going around claiming that Indians don't exist! Be real now!!

If you see the documentary, then you will see and hear what Rabbi Weiss has to say about the relationship between the Zionists and Hamas. He thinks that Zionists should apologize for stealing the Palestinians lands and make amends and reparations. Imagine that! Sounds like good advice to me!

The fact is that some Jews ARE warmongering. Face it! So are some Christians, some Hindus, some Muslims and some atheists!
Not all Jews are peace-loving either, obviously. Some Jews want to kill Palestinians and take their land. Some of the leaders of the brutal Bolshevik revolution were Jewish.

Why is gehrig such an El Nakba-denier?
For those of you who don't know, the El Nabka is Arabic for "The Catastrophe" which refers to when Jewish Zionist terrorists massacred entire Palestinian villages in 1948 the year Israel was created. For more info, please check out http://www.cactus48.com and read "Origin of the Palestine-Israel Conflict" by the Jews for Justice in the Middle East. It's a real eye-opener for most Americans. A MUST READ.

>When asked if Israelis have a right to live in a secure and independent state of their own, Jewish Americans almost unanimously (99.5%) either strongly or somewhat agree with the proposition, as do almost all Arab Americans (95.2%).

Appeal to Popularity
(argumentum ad populum)

Definition:
A proposition is held to be true because it is widely held to
be true or is held to be true by some (usually upper crust)
sector of the population.

This fallacy is sometimes also called the "Appeal to Emotion"
because emotional appeals often sway the population as a
whole.

Examples:

(i) If you were beautiful, you could live like this, so buy
Buty-EZ and become beautiful. (Here, the appeal is to the
"beautiful people".)

(ii) Polls suggest that the Liberals will form a majority
government, so you may as well vote for them.

(iii) Everyone knows that the Earth is flat, so why do you
persist in your outlandish claims?

There are some things you can see with your own eyes.

But Settlements that we are concerned with today were not there pre 1967.

But there is no doubt that they are there today on Confiscated Palestinian land.

There is no doubt that Palestinian homes have been and are being demolished.

Is the Road Map dead?

Compromise can lead to Peace.

For there to be Peace and for there to be a reason for the Palestinian People to stop their fight for Freedom:
We need a Palestinian State with Reasonable Border NOW, If the Road Map that is backed by the U.S., U.N., E.U., and Russia is to work...
Send in a Joint, U.S., U.N. Peace keeping Force to the West Bank and Gaza for the sole purpose of trying to avoid conflicts between the Palestinian and the settlers..
Then have the Biased (biased because they will always be on the side of the settlers) Israeli Military retreat to the pre 1967 Israeli Borders, They can then concentrate their effort on guarding this Border..

Example of a possible solution:
SET THE BORDERS BACK TO 1967...
In return the Refugees have no Right of Return inside the 1967 Israeli Borders..
One complaint that Israel has is that the Right of Return will result in two Palestinian States, (The Right of return is almost impossible any way because the land and homes they lost are now built up with Jewish homes businesses etc…)
The Refugees can be compensated and helped to settle somewhere in the new Palestinian State..
The Settlements are now part of Palestine...
If the some 300,000 Israeli Settlers living in Palestine do not like living there, they can move to Israel...
If the 1,000,000 or so Palestinians who now live in Israel do not like living in Israel, they can move to Palestine...
If 1,000,000 or so Palestinians can live in Israel, then some 300,000 Israeli Settlers can live in Palestine if they choose to stay..
If you take Israel, West Bank and Gaza, West Bank and Gaza is only 22% of the total area in Question, This small amount is not too much to ask for millions of Palestinians who must have their freedom to have a peaceful life.
If this solution was implemented there is a good chance the so called terrorist (seen as freedom fighters by the oppressed Palestinian People) would stop their fight, if not they would be very foolish because then Israel would have a just cause to fight back and the U.S. would have a just cause to help Israel fight back.
Otherwise we will continue to have:
Israel: We have to confiscate Palestinian land and demolish Palestinian homes because there are suicide bombers???
Palestine: We have to defend ourselves because Israel is slowly confiscating all our land and demolishing our homes. We have no military to defend ourselves and our land. If we do nothing, we will soon have nothing at all???
The era of colonization is past,. We can not expect to oppress millions of Palestinian People and still have peace.
by sad
It's pretty darn sad when "progressive" people make excuses for holocaust denial.
by wc
Just because I may not take the Zionists' word on what exactly happened during the Holocaust and why it happened does not make me a "Holocaust denier". Since Zionists lie so much about everything particularly with regards to Israel and Palestine and Palestinians, then why should anyone believe them about anything they say? We don't have to--- this is STILL a free country! We need to protect the First Amendment--- it's under attack by Zionist fanatics, terrorists and extremists-- the most dangerous of all terrorists. People have the right to research and question certain aspects of the Holocaust.
Furthermore, no one should be persecuted because of their religion, ethnic, or gender, not even Palestinians, who are Muslims and Christians, but ARE being persecuted and oppressed in Israel.
