The 10th annual Young Women's Conference

by unknown (kristin [at] lyric.org)
This is the only conference specifically for and by young queer women! This event will bring LGBTQQ young women and TGIQ youth ages 25 and under from the Bay Area together to learn about and talk about different topics.
Topics at past conferences have included sex, our bodies, relationships, gender, activism, drug use, self-defense, expression (poetry, art, writing), homophobia, racism, coming out, spirituality, mental health, stud/butch/femme identities, and a lot more.

This is a FREE all-day-event.

Breakfast and lunch are provided.
Celebrating, marching, partying reveal a middle-class led movement.

BUT WOMEN ARE DYING BY THE MILLIONS all over the world! We have the numbers and the economic power (women are the main consumers of corporate goods) to bury capitalism. Yet, no serious attempt has been made by the women of the world to organize effective political parties which would dismantle the patriarchal hold of society.

We got the vote thanks to the Suffragettes who ended up organizing a Women's Party of England -disbanded because of the First W.War. After the war, the men made sure that they would not reorganize so effectively again. They won!
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
