SFSU Women's Film Festival 2005 News

by Scarlett Shepard (scarlettmittens [at] yahoo.com)
SFSU Women's Film Festival 2005 call for submissions.
Join Women's Film Network!

Women's Film Network is a community for advancement, support and representation of women filmmakers and artists in the Bay Area. I started this group after finishing a Film History II at SFSU. I didn't see one film made or directed/co-directed by a woman. I thought this was huge oversight on behalf of the Cinema Department. We need to change the system!!! This is a place that provides a supportive atmosphere to exchange information and ideas and to assist with networking and showcasing women filmmakers at any stage from pre-production to screening. Post your events, women-centered organizations, contests, jobs, project & production info/needs, discussion topics and artwork/films.
