The Marine Corps is now on sale at Wal-Mart. This is the first time that the Marine Corps has used an in-store television network for recruitment pitches.

Checked out my local Wal-Mart on this and saw the Marine recruitment spot myself. Wal-Mart has TV's throughout the store with not-so-subliminal messages (mostly advertising store products) bombarding customers non-stop. I didn't even have to go to the TV sales area to see it.
It would indeed appear that we are now seeing the "new" recruitment effort aimed at parents of teens and young people. The one I saw was in Spanish...
