Emergency Teach-in on the Energy Crisis in Santa Cruz, Feb 22
An emergency teach-in on the energy crisis is being organized to address the energy crisis.
Emergency teach-in in Santa Cruz, to be held on Thursday Feb. 22, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. at the Louden Nelson Community Center, Room 3, at 301 Center Street in downtown Santa Cruz.
Speakers will provide insight into the current crisis and alternatives to the current sytem of energy sales in the state. We will then break into working groups to provide people with an outlet for action.
The goal of this event is to catalyze a movement for a Municipal Utility District in Santa Cruz. More setails on the event to follow as they become available.
