NAFTA has brought Mexico so many great things - like more jobs at McDonald's! I'm sure McDonald's is banking on FTAA for the prospects of even more hamburger universities south of the border.

MEXICO CITY, Mar 12, 2001 (Reforma/Infolatina via COMTEX) -- Hundreds of McDonald's employees in Mexico have graduated from the fast-food giant's Hamburger University, in Chicago, Ill., but the global franchise now plans to establish a Mexico campus. "McDonald's already has several universities -- in Brazil, Japan, the United Kingdom and Canada. Now the idea is for us to have our own university," McDonalds Mexico Vice President of Intellectual Capital Cesar Martinez said. Around 65,000 company workers from around the world have graduated from Hamburger University, including 500 Mexicans, who now work in the chain's 220 restaurants in Mexico.

This is a discrase to Mexicans who are underestimated. As if the American hegemony isnt enough, the names given and a lame hamburger college is the last straw. Why dosent Mcdonalds sponcer a real educational place instead of stupidity to keep the other country in NAFTA at the lower half of the latter. No one has the balls to explor Mexicos educational boundries other than a lame hamburger college. Instead we give them nicknames because they hope their kids find an education in the U.S.. This sucks. 40 million people at your door step being exploited for cheap labor and pollution. Kill the Hamburger college and take care of the literacy problem. Corporations dont give 2nd and 3rd world countries the chance of advancement in order to buy cheap meat and labor.
