One can save any type of audio clip easily by right-clicking its link. Then click "save target as." Then the audio file is available for replay at anytime, whether one is on or offline.
Windows Media Player is free from Windows Update. Windows Update is on the start menu of Windows. Just click it and a page will load. There you can click "product updates" to see the list of stuff you can download for free - including the latest version of Windows Media Player which is much better than previous versions, I read.
MP3 files seem to stream without interruptions. WAV files seem to have lots of interruptions during the first play. WAV files are much bigger than MP3 files. This is probably why there are interruptions for people using 56K or slower modems.
