U.S. government back in the assassination business.. illegal under international law.. other cases, they have assassinated leaders.. about the CIA presence in Afghanistan.. but do they have any better information than before.. the Northern Alliance leadership not from Afghanistan.. -05:15 Dennis Bernstein: 30 people killed by Israel the last several days.. now w Canadian Bryan Wood who has lived in Beit Jalla the last 3 months.. in Beit Jalla.. an 18 year old boy, holding a baby in his arms, standing in Manger Square, in front of the Church of the Nativity.. shot by an Israeli sniper in the chest.. difficult to understand, he was standing in a place he thought was safe.. Israel's self-proclaimed war on terrorism, has been hell for Bethlehem.. shelling Bethlehem University, the French Maternity Hospital, the two refugee camps north of Bethlehem.. killed 4 mothers, 3 teenage boys, another boy ran up to a soldier and stabbed him.. another boy killed, who was deaf and unable to speak.. -10:20
now w Ms Araz (sp?) a (lady) volunteer with the Red Crescent/Red Cross: these areas of Bethlehem.. people have been trapped inside the Christian Bible College.. Israel holding 60 people hostage in two rooms of a house.. people are running out of water, out of food.. movement impossible.. more and more desparate.. tanks have entered Ramallah.. there is no terrorism here, other than the terrorism of the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine.. ambulances are frequently shot at by Israeli military.. they have desvestated this area.. children can not go to school.. no work for parents.. a whole destruction of life.. the result of a very brutal occupation.. we must apply pressure on our own governments.. the Palestinians feel that they have no other choice than to resist.. young men in the street with guns against tanks.. Now w Bryan Wood: this afternoon after the international convoy left Bethlehem.. we drove through the streets calling for people to come out and non-violently protest the tanks in Beit Jalla.. only 10 people would come out of their houses.. Israel pounding Bethlehem.. great terror here.. who are the real terrorists? who are the people being terrorized?

Roy: all around the world, they publish me, in America now the free press will not.. *Roy is a..* Roy: I am not with him and I am not with the terrorists.. this is hegemony of the mind.. it is unacceptable.. very dangerous.. trashing traditions of jurisprudence.. Roy: nothing can justify terrorism, whether by religious extremists.. or wars of retribution by recognized governments.. .. an insult to one's intelligence.. Dennis: about bin Laden's relationship with the CIA.. Roy: harvesting these religious extreme feelings for.. what's left, a kind of religious fervor.. you can not have a democracy when you have a rich country arming extremists.. Roy: if the Taliban is mistreating women, America is not going to stop them. We have to stop them. Roy: about the similarities of George Bush and O.. .. ..breaking the stranglehold of the media.. I'm somebody who does my best.. in America today people need the information, need the understanding.. let them make up their own minds.. Dennis: how do we 'win' the war against terrorism.. Like saying you're going to win a war against war.. how do you win a war against war? never stop trying for peace.. terrorism is a.. not a.. .. .. that's exactly what they want.. we are falling into a terrible terrible trap.. put our heads together, tap into the wisdom of the world.. what *is* being done about it is boneheaded..

Johnny, a 19-year old altar boy shot and killed by a sniper in front of the church.. wanted to be a priest.. the entire family in shock.. ... In Jenin, an eighteen-year old girl shot by a sniper while she was picking olives.. other men assassinated elsewhere in the West Bank and Gaza.. every city in the West Bank, great fear, praying for an international response to put in observers at the least.. to witness the truth of the Israel invasion.
