Media Alliance, in collaboration with Modern Times Bookstore and ATA (Artists' Television Access), is proud to present MAZE 2001. Featuring Zinesters and DIY publishers and their publications from the Bay Area and around the country. Come buy/sell/trade/contribute/distribute and enjoy zines and other home-made publications. The expo will happen in conjunction with MOBILIVRE-BOOKMOBILE project 2001, an exhibition of artist books traveling by way of motorized vehicle.

“Another World is Paintable” and asking communities
and groups to paint a 4’x 5’ mural panel representing
their alternative to the WTO, war, corporate
globalization, environmental racism and global and
local problems. The mural panels will be carried and
displayed on both November 9th and 10th. See

BRING FOOD/DRINKS TO SHARE
ART AND REVOLUTION NEEDS: sheets-white or light
colors,  plastic containers, latex or
acrylic water-based paint (bright yellow, red, blue,
gree, brown or black), paint brushes, brown paper
bags, $, wirecutters, hammer, cordless drill, duct
tape, masking tape, backpack frames, bamboo or wood
poles, lathe for sign-sticks.

Safety at Home Requires Peace Abroad!
Please come join with over 1,000 Bay Area residents to demonstrate that
people of color are not united for this war, and are concerned about the
safety and future of ourselves and our children.

-For a space for adults and youth to come together to learn about what is
going on, and what we can do about it.
-To learn about the history of U.S. foreign policy and military intervention
abroad.
-For educational panels, youth discussions, art education, music, dancing,
and action!
