WHERE'S THE OUTRAGE FROM MUSLIM COMMUNITIES?
WHERE'S THE OUTRAGE FROM MUSLIM COMMUNITIES?
WHERE'S THE OUTRAGE FROM MUSLIM COMMUNITIES?
November 7, 2001 -- In reference to your article about the traitor Mohammad Junaid ("Traitor: ‘I'll Kill Americans' ," Nov. 4): Since the members of his family are naturalized citizens and the oath of citizenship requires one to forswear allegiance to any other country or organization, their citizenship should be revoked, and they should all be deported. We do not need scum like these people in this country, and any pressure you can put on the immigration service to eject them would benefit all of us.

I bet that there are thousands of Muslims like this guy already living in the United States. When is the IRS going to check all of their income-tax returns, see which ones contributed to terrorist organizations and then quietly deport them? Is this racial profiling? You bet it is. It's better to be a live American than a victim of terrorism.
Robert Belton

Is there now any question of the absolute necessity to sharply reduce further immigration from Middle Eastern nations? The growth of yet another large minority with no intention of joining the larger American society - one which also harbors sympathy for our enemies - is both unnecessary and avoidable. While some innocents may be denied access to the blessings of living in our homeland, it is the only reasonable solution to reducing this "fifth column" growing among us.

Why am I not surprised that a New York City resident would leave the comforts of American society and head to Afghanistan in order to join a jihad against the very society that has always been there for him? I hope the United States will do the right thing in this case and make him a modern-day man without a country. Sadly, when we finish our anti-terrorism campaign, America will allow this traitor to return to our shores.

As it become obvious that the Muslim community is reluctant to express outrage for the deeds of Osama bin Laden, it is important to focus on this phenomenon. Living with a fifth column is against our national interests. Therefore we should be expelling all of those who express a hate for America.

America may not be at war with Islam, but as The Post's article so clearly demonstrates, Islam is very much at war with America. Let's stop all this political correctness and look to our defense first and foremost.
