Summary of two weeks of social fight<br>
<br>
The fight of the coca growers against the eradication of the cocaine leaf and
the prohibition of its free commercialization.<br>
<br>
60 coca growers died in the past few years.<br>
<br>
Currently there are 70 coca growers in prison.<br>
<br>
Military intervention of the coca growers' union center in cochabamba and closing
of its radio station in chapare.<br>
<br>
The systematic detention of union leaders is in effect.<br>
<br>
Yesterday, Tuesday Jan 29, a coca grower in chinahota (chapare) was assassinated.<br>
<br>
The police are using lacrimogenos gases, rubber small bullets and bullets military.
<br>
Popular forces, workers and indigenous peoples have announced mobilizations
such as road blockades, marches, and direct action.<br>
<br>
Las week Evo Morales, the leader and indigena deputy cocalero, was expelled
from the national parliament. He is currently in his seventh day of hunger strike,
against law 24615, and for the closing of the parliament and the liberation
of the prisoners.<br>

The country's worker's and indigenous movement of all pais is prepared to struggle
to incite a politica fight to close the congress and to call a popular assembly
and seek the transformation of the country.<br>

the government of Bolivia, local and international mass media, and to take actions
against the embassies from Bolivia in different countries of the world.<br>

Resumen de dos semanas de lucha social<br>
<br>
La lucha de los cocaleros contra la erradicacion de la hoja de coca y la prohibicion
de su libre comercializacion.<br>
<br>
60 cocaleros muertos en los ultimos aos.<br>
<br>
Actualmente hay 70 cocaleros en las carceles.<br>
<br>
Intervencion militar de la sede sindical de los cocaleros, en cochabamba y cierre
de su radio sindical en chapare.<br>
<br>
Existe una detencion sistematica de dirigentes sindicales.<br>
<br>
Ayer martes 29 asesinaron a un cocalero en chinahota (chapare).<br>
<br>
La policia utiliza en la represion gases lacrimogenos, balines de goma y balas
de guerra.<br>
<br>
Las fuerzas populares, trabajadores, indigenas anuncian movilizaciones como
bloqueo de caminos, marchas, y acciones directas.<br>

La semana anterior fue desaforado y expulsado del parlamento nacional el dirigente
y diputado cocalero indigena Evo Morales. Actualment se<br>
encuentra en el septimo dia de huelga de hambre, contra la ley 24615, por el
cierre del parlamento, la liberacion de los presos .<br>
<br>
Todo el movimiento popular obrero e indigena de todo el pais se prepara para
la lucha social hasta dar un salto a la lucha politica<br>
para cerrar el congreso y convocar a una asamblea popular constituyente para
la transformacion del pais.<br>

Llamamos a la solidaridad internacional para hacer denuncias, enviar cartas
al gobierno de Bolivia, a los medios de comunicacion local e<br>
internacional, tomar acciones contra las embajadas de Bolivia en los diferentes
paises del Mundo.<br>

Hacer denuncias en el Foro Socila de Porto Alegre y en las movilizaciones globales
contra el capitalismo y el Foro economico<br>
