I also urge everyone to work toward abolishing prisons as they are (1) despicable; (2) a waste of our tax dollars and (3) incapable of solving any problems. Rich people like Gavin Newsom should pay with their excess wealth for their evil deeds, so we can distribute that wealth to the needy. While the pie theatrics may have some value, the truth remains, pies are to be eaten. Don't waste good food on stinking little fascists like Gavin Newsom. Gavin Newsom is a lackey of Willie Brown, and as we call recall, Brown received three well-placed (not thrown) pies on his face. They should have been placed on his h ead so that he could wear them as the "royal" crown he so despicably craves.

Pies go down in history - after willie has committed all his crimes, fucked over the elections, and bitten the big one one of these days, that pie incident is etched permenently in history, particularly his idiotic reaction to it, which showed how sinister he really is.

Would homeless people pie Newsom if you gave some to them? They must be used to jail anyhow, right? Problem would be getting them to hit the target and not miss. Maybe several (shaving cream) pies handed to a number of homeless people at a public event . . . better still, a paint bomb! No vegan foodies can complain on here then. Maybe a water balloon full of piss, thrown from a building above. That's what he's so concerned about, right? Piss?

Newsom was pied, just before Brown was. These actions do not change anything at all. They certainly do not organize anyone. I hope everyone who opposes Props. N and R walks those precincts, makes phone calls, stuffs envelopes or makes financial contributions to defeat Props. N and R. Precinct walking and phoning is a form of grassroots organizing and a chance to reach people with alternative ideas.

Newsom and Brown are Democrats. Brown was considered a lifelong liberal Democrat, although he was never liberal, because his record was never discussed anywhere, including not in the socialist press. We still have stations like KPFA interviewing Willie Brown and Jerry Brown on the evening news of 8/12/02 for their phony statement on the pending ILWU strike, where these 2 anti-labor thugs claimed to support labor. KPFA took the first 15 minutes of their newscast for that and that was their story on the ILWU for 8/12/02. These two fascist, organized crime, election-frauding anti-labor, murderous thugs should never again be interviewed on KPFA for any reason whatsoever.

It is long overdue that everyone stop voting for all Democrats, as their party is a capitalist party just like the Republicans, with the same fascist agenda. The Democrats give lip-service to labor to get and stay elected and to keep the Reds out of office, so the Democrats can carry out the same capitalist agenda as the Republicans. Please learn that lesson now.

Pieing is a form of assault and it has nothing to do with politics. We live in a civilized country where the people have the power to vote in or out their elected officials and on laws. Obviously, there are those of you that think assaulting someone is a better way of expressing your political displeasure than to organize and vote out politicians and against laws that you do not support. Maybe we should take it to the next level and allow assassination of those politicians we do not approve of? That seems like the next logical step.

Me on the other hand, I don’t believe in the rule of the jungle and prefer to live in a civilized community where I express my support and displeasure through the voting box.
