Donahue Daily Update

Tuesday, August 13th, 2002
Tonight: Economic forum, Donahue-style. The Bush administration has its idea of an economic forum and so do we. While Bush hears from the usual suspects, we'll hear a different story. Michael Moore, author of "Stupid White Men," joins Phil from the demolished Buick city plant in Flint, Michigan. In addition to tackling the economy, they'll talk gun control and violence in America, the subject of Moore's prizewinning documentary "Bowling for Columbine".
In the second half, French intelligence analyst Jean Charles Brisard shares his theory of the real story behind 9/11. Brisard's book, "Bin Laden: The Forbidden Truth," made headlines in France, alleging that the Bush and Clinton administrations put oil and politics before security in the months preceding the attacks. Now, in a candid interview, he breaks it down for Phil.
Then, a grieving 9/11 widow demands answers. Kristen Breitweiser lost her husband when the second plane hit the Twin Towers. She spends her private time grieving alone with her 3-year-old daughter and her public time demanding an investigation not only of the CIA and FBI's failure to connect the dots, but also the FAA, INS, and the military's failure on September 11th.
Issues that matter. Tonight on Donahue at 8pm and 11pm EST on MSNBC.

Have you had sex yet?
also i am a leftist
Dont like it, don't do it..
People who had the money would be able to have an abortion anyway. That's what happens here.
Besides, banning abortions only makes the problem worse. I've the bad luck to live in a country where abortion is not allowed (Argentina), and there are lots of women (I've heard that the death toll is 2 per day) who die because of illegal abortions performed in bad conditions.
Illegal abortions are performed on very bad conditions, plenty of the times by unqualified personnel. Only the ones who are well off, have access to a safe illegal abortion.
I've got a link to a newspaper article about that, but unfortunately is in Spanish:
http://makeashorterlink.com/?N22712B83
I respect the pro-life posicion (BTW, why are them called "pro-life"? am I supposed to be a pro-death just because I want to keep abortion legal, and I want it to be legalized on those countries, like mine, where is illegal to have an abortion?)), but...isn't easier if you just follow what your conscience and your heart says?
Not to mention that "smashing an egg, is not the same as slaughter a chicken", is it ? ;-)
Banning abortion DOES NOT discourage it. It only makes the things worse. We are not sure if a fetus is human or not, but we can be sure that the woman carrying the fetus is definitely a human being. What about HER rights?
As for abortion, should be legal only in the first trimester. First trimester babies don't feel a thing, and are not viable outside the womb if delivered prematurely. No exceptions after that. Rape and incest are automatically included in that. If you don't know you've been raped or victimized by incest, you have bigger problems than pregnancy.
Just terminating the life of a baby because the pregnancy is unwanted should be illegal. Especially since there is another option: ADOPTION. For those who would rather refer to the baby as a "fetus", just ask a pregnant woman what's inside her womb.
Do I have the choice to kill you if you are a bother to me? Of course not. Therefore, a woman should not have the right to kill a viable baby, just because it's a bother. It's not as though the baby is in her womb by force. The woman had a choice at the moment of conception. At that moment, she limited HER OWN future choices. Sorry if it hurts. That's just the way it is whether you want to hear it or not.
Toad out
"Michael Moore is an ass. " He gives a shit about people besides himself.
Then Mr Toad totally projects rightwing methods onto Mr. Moore. Let me switch it to reality: Everything rightwing trolls do is from the far right with no logic as a basis, only emotion. Limbaugh is not far behind. Both are reactionary and desperate because the majority of America do not share their opinions. His pieces are targeted at helpless, angry, fearful people who prefer that others (Pentagon, CIA, police, prisons, rightwing think tanks, CEOs, FBI, DEA, Fox News) be responsible for their lives. These people are an automatic audience for Limbaugh, and likely a pretty good living, too. (250 million dollar contract.) He's a panderer, telling them what they want to hear.
"Do I have the choice to kill you if you are a bother to me? " If you are a member of the Bush Crime Family, yes.
The rest of the abortion stuff is superficial, arrogant, one dimensional drivel of the highest order.
"It's bad enough a young girl is pressured to have sex with her boyfriend, now she has T.V. school & liberal parents on the boyfriends side.
Liberals say it's not REALISTIC to wait, it's not natural to fight the urge, we were born this way. I guess it's alright for men to cheat, if the girl doesn't put out, hey, it's only natural to cheat, it's our nature right?

The other day a woman was in the office asking people to feel her pregnant belly, she kept reffering to it as her baby, Imagine that! I quickly corrected her though reminding her "It's not a baby, it's a fetus."
And another thing. Listen up, schumck. People have sex. Get used to it. If they ain't having it with you, it's none of your goddam business. So fuck off with yout anti-sex propaganda. We're NOT listening.
