9/4/02 in Richmond: 9-11 Unanswered Questions Video Screening

ON LARGE SCREEN, PART OF 'MOSTLY MONTHLY VIDEO VIEWING' SERIES

As part of the Mostly Monthly Video Viewing series, Librarians for Intellectual Freedom will present a free screening of the video: "9-11 And The Public Safety: Seeking Answers and Accountability".

The video is a record of the press conference given at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on June 10, 2002 by a group of citizens who are skeptical of the official story surrounding the attacks of September 11, 2001. The conference was presented by leading investigative journalists, law firms representing families of victims of 9-11, and the family members themselves. The press conference launched UnansweredQuestions.org (UQ). UQ is a dynamic online meeting place for researchers, investigative journalists and concerned citizens to pose thoughtful and engaging questions about 9-11. The group is also calling for the formation of a Citizen’s Investigative Commission on 9-11.

The Librarians for Intellectual Freedom support the American Library Association’s policy of intellectual freedom as defined in the Library Bill of Rights. The video screening of 9-11 And The Public Safety: Seeking Answers and Accountability, will be followed by a brief discussion about the unanswered questions surrounding the attacks of September 11, 2001. Light refreshments will be available. This program is free and open to the public. All labor and materials for the program are donated.
