***National Call-In Day to Oppose the RAVE Act

On Friday, September 6th thousands of voters will be calling their Senators and urging them to oppose the RAVE Act, a bill that is a danger to free speech and public health. Please join this National Call-In Day by calling your Senators on September 6th. Senators need to know that you oppose this bill. The National
Call-In Day coincides with musical protests around the country in opposition to the
RAVE Act, with raves and rallies in Washington DC, New York and Los Angeles on the 6th (and in San Francisco on the 7th).

PLEASE CALL YOUR SENATORS ON SEPTEMBER 6th

ACTIONS TO TAKE:

-- On September 6th, call your Senators and tell them to oppose S. 2633, the RAVE Act. Tell them that innocent business owners shouldn't be punished for the
activities of their customers. Tell them this bill has dangerous anti-civil liberties provisions that they need to be aware of, and that it's a threat to public health.

You can contact your Senators through the Capitol Switchboard
at 202-224-3121. To find out who your Senators are go to:
<http://www.senate.gov/senators/senator_by_state.cfm>

--Please forward this action alert to your friends and family. The Senate needs to know that voters find this bill unacceptable.

Also, there's a protest in SF on saturday, sept. 7. It's at maclaren park, at the amphitheatre, and it's an all day party to "save the rave." some skills djs, i think and polywog. don't ask me why it's at maclaren park and not at a federal bldg. or something, but i guess it is a saturday...
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
