1 more voice in the wilderness.

by NOT A jew
The "liberals" have truly failed their calling when the main voice defending the human rights of Muslim Civilians are the far right!
by

James Buchanan

While the chances of you seeing this letter are small, it is historically important that someone attempt to tell you the truth. First of all the leftist smears against you are a sickening example of the dishonesty of the liberals and the mass media. A graduate of both Yale and Harvard and a man, who flew military fighter planes, must be exceptionally intelligent. Ann Coulter is 100 percent right about the liberal attempts to slander Republican leaders while the ranks of the Democrats include an individual with the initials "A.G." who flunked out of divinity school. Among the leftist "intellectual elite" are Senators Patty Murray, Barbara Boxer and Maria Cantwell, who are all hopelessly unintelligent by any reasonable standard. Democrat Senator Ron Wyden is probably the most dull-witted man in the Senate. Then there are Democrat Senators such as Schumer, Feinstein and Clinton, who are just downright evil and contemptuous of the U.S. Constitution. Perhaps you should take a look at the people supporting the preemptive war against Iraq and see how many of them are leftists, who put the interests of America in last place. I don't think Hillary, Schumer or the unemployed Bill Clinton and Al Gore would resist waging war on a defenseless Muslim country.

The first thing you need to realize is some key people have been feeding you bad advice. Americans elected you to be President because you were seen as a fiscal conservative, pro-gun and anti-quota. You upheld the Second Amendment in Texas and signed one of the first state laws abolishing racial quotas, which discriminate by race against the most qualified job applicants. Since you've been elected, the issue of abolishing quotas has dropped off the radar screen --thanks no doubt to your moderate advisors. These same gutless moderates watered down the tax cut to the point where it was singularly ineffective, which is why the economy is still teetering on the brink of a recession. A large tax cut and the complete abolition of Capital Gains taxes would have had the economy in high gear by now, but the moderates in your administration talked you out of that. Finally, the moderates caused you to look bad in regards to the one remaining conservative issue that Americans thought you supported, "The Right to Keep and Bear Arms." The moderates talked you into briefly opposing the arming of airline pilots, and now millions of Americans think you are anti-gun. Over 80 percent of Americans favor arming the pilots. You should have been leading the charge on this issue, but the moderates talked you out of doing the right thing and made you look like a late arrival to an issue that is dear to your heart.

Your father fell victim to the same bad advice from moderates. They told your father to raise taxes --to break his promise to the American people. They told him to ignore all the economic policies of Ronald Reagan. They told him to go soft on the Second Amendment. They told him to make unnecessary deals and compromises with the liberals. And they told him to fight a war against Iraq. They thought that the Jews would throw their support behind your father if only he would wage a major war for Israel.

And what did the Gulf War accomplish? The American economy fell into a severe recession because tens of billions of dollars were diverted from Space and Defense to fund the war on Iraq. Naturally the Democrats did not give up one penny from their welfare and various hand out agencies. The people, who lost their jobs, were overwhelmingly conservatives in the Defense and Space agencies. Government funding of high tech industries are vital to creating new technology that gives America a lead over the rest of the world. The personal computer and the Internet came from Space and Defense projects. Welfare spending only creates more welfare children.

Not all Americans are mindless Neanderthals, who take joy at seeing smart bombs obliterate defenseless Muslims. Not all Americans believe the mass media when it tells us we must make war on Iraq. Iraq's invasion of Kuwait was of no importance whatsoever to Americans. Saddam Hussein actually wanted to sell oil at LOWER prices than the Kuwaitis. The claim that Iraq would interrupt or threaten the flow of oil was a BIG LIE. There was no murder spree by Iraqi troops when they occupied Kuwait and the fabricated story about babies being thrown out of incubators was an insult to our intelligence and quickly exposed as the obvious lie that it was.

The Iraqis carried out a virtually bloodless invasion of Kuwait and America responded by killing literally hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, virtually all of whom were low-level draftees or civilians, who were unlucky enough to live near infra-structure targets. Most Americans would have preferred a blockade of Iraq --if any action at all. We live in an age in which terrorism is a serious concern. The best way to create a new terrorist is to kill his family members with a "smart bomb."

Millions of Americans take their religious beliefs seriously. Millions of Americans are devoted pacifists. While the war on Afghanistan is seen as a plausible retaliation by many Americans, a second war on Iraq based on "secret evidence" no doubt produced by the MOSSAD and the equally dishonest CIA would be seen as outright murder. George Bush Senior didn't get any of the pacifist vote in his reelection attempt and neither will you if you follow that course.

The real reason for the first Gulf War was Israeli paranoia and it is the same for the second Gulf War. Sooner or later radical Muslims will get nuclear bombs. Pakistan already has nuclear weapons, and our endless military expeditions could lead to a radical Muslim revolution in Pakistan. We already bombed Iraq into rubble and enforced a massive embargo on them for 11 years. DESPITE ALL THIS EFFORT, Iraq supposedly is "just a few months from making a nuclear bomb." This means the first Gulf War failed. The embargo failed, and all we "accomplished" was the murder of large numbers of foreign nationals, whose surviving relatives will soon have atomic bombs. Our best possible action would be to start treating Muslim nations with the same respect as any other nation with nuclear weapons and to quit arrogantly assuming that the people, who first developed algebra aren't smart enough to make a nuclear bomb.

Sooner or later Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Egypt will have atomic bombs. Every one of those nations will remember what we do to the Muslim people of Iraq. Iraq is a sovereign nation (as the Russians have recently tried to remind us) and they have every right to make weapons for their self defense. If we wage a second war on Iraq, then the other Muslim nations will be ten times as secretive in their attempts to make nuclear weapons.

The only way to have peace in the Middle East is to rein in the Israeli military, to end the Apartheid culture of Israel and to stop the inhumane treatment of the Palestinians. We can't solve the problems caused by Israeli brutality by murdering the people, who complain about it or who sympathize with the Palestinians.

The only way to stop a Muslim radical from taking a suitcase nuke into New York is to stop supporting Israel without any restrictions. And the only way to stop a Muslim radical from taking a suitcase nuke into Tel Aviv is for the Israelis to quit shooting Arab children.

You can listen to the same advisors, who talked your father into making war on Iraq and who drove the American economy into a recession, or you can do the right thing, choose peace and start fixing the economy before your chances of reelection disappear completely.
