Appeals Court DIDN'T throw out lawsuit on war powers declaration

John Bonifaz is the lead attorney for plaintiffs in a suit against a U.S. war on Iraq without Congressional approval. Initial media reports of the appeals court decision were misleading. The case isn't dead in the water. It's unclear just how much of a thorn in the Dubya Whitehouse the case will prove to be, but the story is still developing.

Thanks for the fix. I'm still a little confused, however. Maybe you can help. I posted the story to five IMCs, experimenting with the m3u and mp3 file extensions. When I upload with m3u as the file extension, it causes IMCs to note metafiles problems. For example:
Warning: stat failed for ../local/webcast/uploads/metafiles (errno=13 - Permission denied) in /www/active-cvs/chicago/webcast/new_data-process.php3 on line 31
Error: this version of active requires there to be a directory named "metafiles" in your upload directory.!Please create ../local/webcast/uploads/metafiles
Number of files uploaded: 1
Thanks for contributing! correct html / upload has been published.
And this results in pages that aren't correct. Chicago doesn't have the html and Houston didn't process the html. Interestingly enough, your fix ditched the text formatting, as can be seen with the DC IMC post example (where I did leave the mp3 file extension).
The DC IMC upload is using an mp3 file extension created in a text editor with the following link
The http://dc.indymedia.org/video/metagen.php?url= server pointer is the same format used on radio.indymedia.org and that's why I used it with an mp3 file extension name since it seems to not create the upload problems (e.g., Houston, Chicago).
Got any tips? I'd love to get it right, but I'm not sure what's up.
Thanks
ziggy
