New York Demonstrators Shut Down Midtown, More

A loose coalition of groups known as M27 have declared a day of action in NYC today.

So far, they have managed to block 5th Ave at Rockefeller Center with a mass die-in; stage a funeral march through midtown; block major intersections south of Houston and on Broadway; join the NYU student walkout; and stage an action at Tiffany’s and a subsequent die-in at the Plaza Hotel.

Let’s hear it for our friends back East!
