RIVER CLEAN UP
On Saturday Sept. 20 there will be a San Joaquin River clean up from Friant to just west of highway 99 on Herndon. They said it starts at 8am and you can stay until 5pm if you have the energy and the meeting point was on west Herndon just west of 99, look for the tarps and signs. I heard about this just now on 88.1 you can call them I guess for more details. The guy on the radio, sorry, didn't catch his name said there was over 6 thousand old tires in the river. The goal is to remove 1000 on Saturday. Lets go out there and clean our river up.
