Teachers: Please Register to Participate in the Education not Incarceration Teach-ins from November 12th - November 19th!
The teach-ins will address a wide variety of issues facing youth today in our community, and will spotlight the immense problems facing our schools due to drastic budget cuts. Presenters and curriculum will also spotlight that while California is cutting money from education, it is spending more and more money imprisoning our youth and their parents. Teach-ins will also spotlight opportunities for youth to get involved creating possitive change in their community. The teach-ins will feature both grade appropriate curriculum being developed by our curriculum working group, and presenters from the community and youth panelists who will discus these issues and how our youth and their parents can get involved in building solutions. Presenters and curriculum will be available for all age groups!
