Dave Kersting: The Constitution demands that we remain neutral viz a viz Israel/Palestine

by Dave Kersting
The Constitution is supposed to provide the standards that we need to ward off the disasters we bring upon ourselves when we violate it.
“America” is defined by our Constitution. The choice is perfectly simple: those who honor the Constitution must oppose official support for official ethnic and religious preference, even if that preference is demanded by a foreign country – ESPECIALLY if that preference is demanded by a foreign country.

The point is, the Constitution is supposed to provide the standards that we need to ward off the disasters we bring upon ourselves when we violate it, as Howard Dean does when he supports the officially racist definition of Israel, as an explicitly Jewish state, determined to perpetuate the initial ethnic cleansing of the indigenous population.

Howard Dean is, of course, particularly lavish in his promises to the Israel lobby (AIPAC) and the Zionist political organizations. Like most US politicians, Dean is running, first and foremost, as a Zionist, a political position that virtually nullifies the distinctions between Democrat and Republican.

But – OF COURSE – no politician can take a moral position, if the voters don’t bother to demand it. There will always be plenty of special interests to take control, if the voters themselves are traitors to our Constitution – or is “traitor” too harsh a term for that kind of blithe disregard in the face of terrible danger and daily tragedies both suffered and committed by Americans?

If we honor the Constitution (i.e.: “America”), we simply cannot send one dollar to Israel, without linking it to some assurance that its explicitly racist policies are being reformed – and if we would do THAT, Israel would be freed from the Zionist war-mongers [Ariel Sharon and his ilk] who exploit our disregard and our billions in tax-dollars, while demanding that Israel be defined as an officially and preferentially “Jewish” state. Only then could Israelis – and Americans – have peace with that quarter of the globe. Then Israel would not need the military existence that is required to maintain official, and anti-Constitutional “Jewish” supremacy at the crossroads of the Arab and Muslim world.

The danger of an active minority, with loyalty to a foreign principle and country, distorting our national policy, is exactly what the Constitution exists to AVOID. Ignoring it is what got us in this mess.

The major problems we now face – at every point of the political spectrum – are inflamed by the “threat of terrorism” and the state of belligerence that exists between the US and the Middle East. “The Communists,” as the fear-mongers, war-mongers threat, have been replaced, via Israel, by “the Arabs.” And the peace that we could be harvesting, if only we would obey our Constitution, is rapidly shifting toward global cataclysm, because people like Howard Dean are more faithful to the racist-supremacist definition of Israel than they are to the Constitutional definition of America.

Everyone in my family history who died or was injured fighting in wars thoroughly believed that he was fighting against the kind of policy Howard Dean lavishly supports. The Constitution IS our country. The need to oppose its enemies, when they are inside our political institutions is even more urgent than when they are threatening our borders.

There is no point, no issue, no fact, in any aspect of political, social, environmental, or moral discourse, that is more simple, plain, and clear than the anti-Constitutional nature of US support for Jewish supremacist Israel – and the Quisling reality of politicians who side with Zionism against our Constitution.

Those who dismiss these ideas should not be so darn sure that the Constitution will continue to lose. In fact, it definitely is going to win, and those who did not support it – or who supported its enemies – will have a hard time explaining how on Earth they got so caught up in this frenzy as to overlook something so utterly simple.
