12/20/2003 Armed robbers took advantage of San Francisco's blackout to knock off a medical marijuana clinic.

The men, armed with guns and dressed in black, broke into the Alternative Herbal Health Services clinic on Haight Street at about 8 p.m., two hours after the outage began.

They pistol-whipped at least one person inside the clinic before fleeing with an unspecified amount of cash.
