Family Saturdays
The Society of California Pioneers continues Family Saturdays, August 16th, 2 - 3 pm. We are proud to welcome the Chinese Folk Dance Association, the oldest folk dance company in the Bay Area. This award-winning group combines Chinese folk and ballet techniques with traditional, colorful costumes imported from China to create an experience you can't get anywhere else. Admission to the museum and the programs will be FREE on day of the event.
Family Saturdays will continue Saturday, September 20th, with renowned storyteller Orunamamu who will keep visitors on the edge of their seats as tells stories of California's past.
Program dates: August 16, and September 20, 2003
Program times: 2 -3pm
Museum Hours: Weds – Saturday, 10am–4pm
