Forget the hype and discover the freshest, newest and most exciting filmmakers for the 21st century! Over 7 shorts and with one feature film -- for less than the cost of an over-inflated blockbuster movie!

Program 3 features films from African American women filmmakers, including two shorts from the Sundance Film Festival filmmaker Venus De Milo Thomas, who also starred in Terry Zwigler's GHOST WORLD. Venus' film DID I WAKE YOU? is a provocative and hard-hitting short focusing on issues effecting young Black girls and women and it's featured in Program 3.

Stay for the creepy and scary THE LETTER, by festival incumbent Kimberly Holt. Dealing in the macabre through psychological thrillers, Kimberly is the first Black woman horror director and her first entry (THE HAPPIEST DAY) easily rivaled the disturbing themes of SE7EN and SILENCE OF THE LAMBS.

These are the best films you've never seen...!
