...what's needed and not needed for the Really, REALLY Free Market...

A quick word to encourage everyone to bring an offering for the Really,
Really Free Market on Sunday, June 6, in Union Square between 2-4 pm. The market is part of the mobilization to protest the biotech convention and the G8, and to hold the vision that "another world is possible".

The market will be a demonstration of the "gift economy" in the midst of the Conspicuous Consumption Center of SF, and a practical demonstration of Reclaiming the Commons by calling forth the talents that we all have to share with one another.

WHAT IS NOT NEEDED:

A rally; Any announcements;

Any money, barter, trades.

This is a day off from all that, with the hope to bring to birth something
new.

WHAT IS NEEDED:

Strollers, skateboards, wagons, anything that can carry the plants that we
are going to give away...

Volunteers to help with set-up (10-2 pm) and breakdown (4-6 pm)!

Massage tables
Healers
Performers
Musicians
Psychic readers
A poem, song, reading, dance, anything that comes from you.

Please feel free to bring something to give away. The free market is also a free flea market. It's not too late for spring cleaning!

There will be a "performance corner" for performers , poets, musicians and more at the market, with amplification available if desired.
