On Monday, October 11, Concerts for Change (http://www.ConcertsforChange.org), a national
grassroots effort to help elect John Kerry, launched a new website --
http://www.StopSinclair.org -- to gather signatures to oppose Sinclair Broadcast Group's
widely reported decision to force local stations to air an anti-Kerry documentary,
Stolen Honor, within ten days of the election. As of 2pm EST on Wednesday, October
13 more than 44,000 people had already signed the petition.
America Coming Together (http://www.ActforVictory.org), the largest Democratic voter
mobilization project in American history, will also participate in the effort by
distributing the petition to local Sinclair owned and operated television stations
in swing states cities all across America.
