10/17 Labor March Banner: Bush Regime Engineered 9-11

What the milestone Labor March on Washington of 10/17/04 lacked in numbers, it more than made up in spirit and knowledge. One banner said what needed to be said in big bold letters in the belly of the beast: "The Bush Regime Engineered 9-11."

This milestone march coincided with the arrival of the benchmark book of the 9-11 Truth Movement that is a MUST READ for every thinking person, namely
CROSSING THE RUBICON: The Decline of the American Empire and the End of the Age of Oil, by Michael Ruppert.

First, to the author, Michael Ruppert, thank you so very much for your lifelong dedication and research for the truth and justice that made this 600 page book plus 900 votes possible. Every single page is a gem; every single footnote worth reading, and it is all very readable. Michael Ruppert is to the 9-11 Truth Movement what Mark Lane and his book on JFK's assassination, Rush to Judgment was to the expose of the government's lies on that CIA assassination. Mike Ruppert: Your book is a treasure to be kept forever!

For those of you whose patience is minimal, but like all political activists, you know you have to do your political reading, you can start with the summation, and then proceed to the beginning and read EVERY SINGLE PAGE!

Ruppert presents the 9-11 Reichstag Fire as a homicide case, which it is, in the form of a detective's investigation, with sections entitled Motive, Means, Opportunity, and Empire and Decline.

He demonstrates that the planes used in 9-11 were on automatic pilot guided by the US military, with VP Cheney directing the whole show. 9 of the 19 so-called hijackers are alive, and he goes into great detail about the phony information regarding these alleged hijackers. Building 7 was brought down with construction explosives, and other books, which cover the engineering and science in more depth, demonstrate that the Twin Towers were brought down with construction explosives, which were planted the weekend before 9-11 when the Towers were shut down for "upgrading" wiring for computers, supposedly. While he does not go into the fact that construction explosives were also used at the Pentagon, he does spend a great deal of time on the suspicious insider stock trading just before 9-11-01 and the fact that the CIA is Wall Street and vice versa. He has the text of the Operation Northwoods plan in an Appendix. This was a 1962 plan approved by the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff to promote various agent provocateur actions, such as blowing up a US airplane and blaming it on Cuba as an excuse to invade Cuba, with no regard for human life.

He ties the hoax of 9-11-01 with the oil crisis and the decline of the American empire. He is not a socialist, but he has a good nose for the stench of this bankrupt society, causing him to oppose both the Democrat and Republicans as "patrician" candidates leading the same evil empire: "There is only yet another Patrician seeking to replace Caesar on the throne and wear the Imperial purple." This is the beginning of the chapter on the Kean Commission, Bush-Cheney's coverup show, which had both Democrats and Republicans agreeing to all the lies.

He has an entire chapter on Israel, demonstrating its actions as a junior partner of US imperialism. He quotes from the World Socialist website and cites the same in his footnotes, a remarkable achievement for someone who was raised in Air Force family and became a cop for a short time, his police career having ended when he found they were not trying to abolish drug crime, but instead were part of the drug trade. He is still somewhat religious, but no more so than the average American.

All the usual reasons we all have to be proud of the Labor March on Washington exist, plus the fact that some people cared enough to "speak truth to power" in the nation's capital. Labor is leading gloriously.
