October Surprise & Senate Office Closings

The long awaited October Surprise is clearly on the horizon. Multimillionaire Senator Mark Dayton, Democrat, Minnesota, of the Target Corporation family, the 2d largest retailer in the US, closed his Washington office until after 11/2, and they all have received "hair-curling" briefings about alleged terrorist attacks pending in Wash, D.C.

As the WSW states:
"There is a growing danger that elements in the administration and the intelligence and national security apparatus will permit or directly engineer some new terrorist atrocity to try to stampede public opinion on the eve of the election, or even create the conditions where the election could be postponed or canceled."

DIRECTLY ENGINEER is the correct and only possible means of these contrived "attacks." Those of us who have been doing our homework know for sure that the 9/11 Homicide was perpetrated by the US military and the CIA, with Dick Cheney at the helm, as described in detail in Michael Ruppert's excellent MUST READ book, Crossing the Rubicon.

If the election should occur, and you plan to vote on election day, although you have no excuse for waiting as you can vote for the 30 days before election day in California by mail or at your County Registrar's office, you now have no excuse for playing the insulting, worthless and despicable "lesser evil" game, and you should and must always vote your conscience.

In San Francisco, you can vote this weekend, October 23-24, and next weekend, October 30-31 at the County Registrar at City Hall, Basement, Van Ness side, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

October Surprise refers to Ronald Reagan's theft of the re-election from Jimmy Carter in 1980, by means of the Iran-Contra deal, allowing for the Americans held hostage at the US embassy in Iran to remain there from Nov 4, 1979 to January 20, 1981, the day Ronald Reagan was inaugurated in January 1981.

Election Recommendations:

As a rule of thumb, this writer, like most socialists, opposes bonds, sales taxes, gambling, prisons, police, the death penalty and the military. We generally support taxing business and the rich. Instead of bonds, projects are best paid for by the progressive income tax, also known as tax the rich. The legislators need to be told to write bills to appropriate funds, that is our tax dollars, for your favorite projects.

The most important of the 15 propositions on the San Francisco ballot is PROPOSITION N, which is as follows:

Shall it be City policy to urge the United States government to withdraw all troops from Iraq and bring all military personnel in Iraq back to the United States?

The financial crisis at home is directly linked to the tax expenditure in this blood for oil war in Iraq. As one ballot argument states:

Since May 2003, Congress has appropriated over $150 billion. This war has cost the State of Califonria over $19 billion, and San Francisco $520 million.

San Francisco loves to claim it is "progressive," and for peace. The vote on this proposition will demonstrate just how true this is. Yes on N.

Proposition 64-No
Proposition 66-Yes
Proposition 72-Yes

Prop 62 would destroy all the small parties in California, such as Peace & Freedom Party, California's socialist electoral party, and the Green Party. It is very anti-democratic as it limits our choices on the ballot.

Proposition 64 limits our right to file lawsuits, in this case, unfair competition lawsuits. It is bad for consumers.

Proposition 66 limits the third offense in the horrifying prison-promoting three-strikes law to a violent offense. It will restore the concept of rehabilitation instead of punishment, which will save the taxpayers' money and build a much better society. This is not enough, but it is a start.
