New activism radio show on Pirate Cat 87.9FM

Shockwaves: The Activist Report is a new radio show on Pirate Cat Radio 87.9 FM, a community radio station in the Mission District. Shockwaves airs 4-6PM on Thursdays and focuses on political activism with an emphasis on community issues in the Mission.

Shockwaves: the activist report on Pirate Cat 87.9FM is looking for activists to interview live on the air -- including people working on anti-war organizing, labor issues, anti-racist struggles, immigrant rights, education, independent media, lgbt rights, anti-police brutality, women's rights, among many other issues.
