Gavin was right!

since the start of reforming the homeless services we have seen great improvements in services getting to the pepole who need them. the scamming and graft is on the decling as the word is out that it will no longer be tollerated. under gavin's leadership the homless will finaly get the services they deserve.

Since CNC went into effect, almost 400 people have been housed. "Homeless" GA cases have dropped almost 40 % due to the fact that people from Oakland and other cities are no longer able to scam our system. ("I'm homeless in SF". Of course you are. You live in Oakland.) There are plenty of opportunities for people to better themselves and get on their feet if they actually want to. But the days of the handouts, the cash for drugs and booze, are OVER. Don't listen to the Coalition. They, too, scammed our system and cost the taxpayers of SF millions and millions of dollars by giving out fake "residency" letters to people from out of town. They were busted on videotape by Channel 5 (which is why SF GA will no longer accept any documentation from the Coalition). The Coalition also "responds" to homelessness not by encouraging people to avail themselves of the help the system offers, but by giving out tents and tarps to encourage people to live on the street. The Coalition is an outrage and it hurts the poor far more than it ever helped. Stop funding them NOW.

More tax cuts for the rich will solve the "abuse" of the system of homeless individuals and families! More tax cut for the rich! Less social spending more military spending!
by oh I don't know...
Let's not count on Gavin before he's hatched. I mean, is there going to be a homeless death count this winter, or is that still conveniently shelved?

I still remember the last holiday season when Willie was in office, going by United Nations Plaza on Christmas Eve as it was being hosed down. "Move along, there's no room for you here..." Doubt that's changed. That was always the problem with Care not Cash. They didn't care, period. And there is no housing. As Willie said, make 50k or get out of town.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
