Urgent! Sonoma County caregivers and patients need to work together!
Law enforcement is attempting to lower the 99 plant count here in Sonoma County. The sherriff, DA, and city police chiefs announced to members of SAMM in March that they agreed to drop the plant limits to 25 plants. It is urgent for the patients' opinions to be heard before law enforcement's decision become final policy. It seems to already be taking effect - there have been 6 raids on the river medical marijuana grows since March 7.
Please call the district attorney and your county supervisor to let them know:
- Why more than 25 plants is reasonable for many patients.
- That this is not a decision that should be left up to law enforcement.
- Sonoma County voters feel the current county guidelines are effective.
(And remember, when doing lobbying like this, respect and patience go a long way)
