*Sonoma County Board of Supervisors wants to put in place an emergency
moratorium on dispensaries in county areas!!* Come show your support for
your local dispensary. Emergency ordinances are not needed. The
opening of one more dispensary in the county does not constitute an
emergency. As the Medical marijuana population is growing, access to
medicine has decreased due to limited hours, limiting new locations from
opening, and lowering the plant count. Sonoma County has long been
undeserved, the number of medical marijuana patients per dispensary
exceeds the amount of quality medicine that can be obtained. Limiting
access to the dispensaries locally encourages patients to go outside of
Sonoma County to find their medicine, this further jeopardizes the
patient. Please help keep their access safe by attending the Sonoma
County Board of Supervisors meeting this Tuesday at 10:30 to let them
know you are concerned about the availability of medicine for local
patients. For more information call Sonoma County ASA at 707-332-6556.
