This is a monumental day in California. Today, the full Senate votes on our
marriage equality bill.

If the Senate passes AB 849, the Civil Marriage and Religious Freedom Protection Act
by Mark Leno (D-San Francisco), it will be the first legislative body in the nation
to vote in favor of full marriage equality.

If passed, AB 849 will proceed to the Assembly for a concurrence vote.
