Once all of the demonstrators reached the Veterans Building, members of the community took the microphone to voice their opposition to the HR4437 legislation. All of the speakers spoke about how they, there friends, and family members would like to be treated with dignity for the vital jobs that they do from working in the fields, working in restaurants, as well as the hospitality business. The protestors stated that they were not criminals and did not deserve to be treated as felons for doing the jobs that help the American economy function.
