San Francisco Board of Education - Parent Advisory Council

by Francisco Da Costa (frandacosta [at] att.net)
Omar Khalif brought the community together in the Bayview Hunters Point and more the parents of the students that attend our SF Public School in San Francisco. The parents and students joined hands in small groups to address a survey that was conducted in other parts of the City but did not include parents and students from the Southeast Sector. The turn out was nice and the issues discussed at hand very practical and urgent.
What the Bayview Hunters Point needs is good leadership.

We have too many sell out Blacks that are selling themselves for bread crumbs.

When Omar Khalif saw that a survey and report was conducted very well in the West of the City of San Francisco and the Parents and students from the Southeast Sector that is Bayview Hunters Point, Visistation Valley, Portola were left out - he made good and held a meeting and sent out the Clarion Call.

The meeting was held at the Southeast Facility Community Hall at 1800 Oakdale and the turn out was excellent.

It just goes to show that if a decent person with a good heart sents out the call to come and save our YOUTH - those constituents that have a heart will come and stand for what is right.

Omar Khalif is running for the SF Board of Education Seat and judging from what he has done so far he need all the help and support we can give him:
