Northern California Women's Music Festival

3 day 2 night all womens music festival at Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville CA. August 26th, 27th and 28th 2006. Upscale camping, Tipis, creek, Fabulous food, workshops, crafters, main stage, open mic, disabled services. hot and cold running water, showers, flush toilets. Plenty of shade on 40 acres, private camp. Women only, boys 6 and under okay.

Tickets are now available for the 2006 NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WOMEN’S MUSIC FESTIVAL We have a fabulous line-up this year with Carolyn Brandy’s new group-Ojala, Humboldt County’s own-Anna Banana Hamilton, Blues Grit Duo- WildSang, Fabulous Folk-Singer and River Guide-Alice DiMicele, Russian Folk Artist and Founder of Rose St House of Music-Irina Rivkin, Legendary Blues Singer Gwen Avery, New to the scene, BAY AREA R&B band-Average Dyke Band, Celtic World Beat Band-Druid Sisters Tea Party, Singer/Songwriter-Linda Rose Stonestreet, Country & Western soon to be star-Kitty Rose w/ Woody Simmons and Amy Meyers, African band, also playing MichFest this year-Jambalaya, Singer Songwriter-Dianne Patterson. Plus Saturday night we will have a dance after the main stage closes.
In addition to these wonderful musicians. we have a lot more in store for you at this year’s festival. Workshops will include Unlearning Racism and Communicating Through Conflict with bay area facilitator Rainbow Markell. Mindfulness in Daily Life with L.Acc and student of Dr Thynn Thynn-Dr. Jane Sipe, Contra Dancing with Jessie Modic. Drumming with Carolyn Brandy, Yoga with Path Star, Singing your joy with Jessie Modic-new this year are kids workshops, storytelling for kids and Singing for Kids,
Plenty of craftswomen have joined the scene this year with our crafts big-top tent filled up to the brim. Lots of wonderfully handcrafted women-made CREATIONS for sale under the big top!
Andrea Shirley AKA MOM will be cooking again for us this year. (reason enough to come!)
There are still a few work exchange positions available and tickets are selling! We have let go of ticket-web this year resulting from YOUR suggestions, and have streamlined the process. Tickets are available w/ PayPal online at http://www.norcalwomensmusic.org or can be purchased by check or money order through the mail at Rose Street Productions PO BOX 537 Tiburon Ca 94920- if you order by mail please see the instructions on the website first…thanks! Also please note if you pay by credit card you will be charged tax.

Parking, Tent Camping, Tipi (if needed), All Fabulous Meals, Performances, Workshops and full use of facilities.
Gates Open at 12noon on Friday and close at 2pm on Sunday.
