Mayor Gavin Newsom are the cameras in San Francisco really working?
There he was on Channel 2 - Mayor Gavin Newsom as usual running his mouth and this time from both sides talkling about cameras and not knowing a thing about how they work in general. 80% of the cameras in San Francisco placed by the Mayor's Office do not work properly. T he Mayor is wasting our money and the results from the cameras do not equate to the thousands invested in them. Simply put most of them do not work nor produce.
There he was on Channel 2 - Mayor Gavin Newsom talking about Cameras in San Francisco and Crime and Violence and talking from both sides of his mouth.
Spewing diatribe and most of the stuff coming from his mouth was not the truth.
80% of the cameras do not work in San Francisco. When one reviews the films the picture frames are all bleached. The cars, the homes, the trees, the people, all appear like ghosts. So what use are these cameras and why are they costing so much and produce shabby results?
When the 13 year old girl was shot in the Bernal Heights dwellings that camera worked. The color was right, the picture frames clear. In this case because the camera worked and the culprits were apprehended.
The Mayor does not want to address Community Policing. He is a sissy and does not want to meet and deal with real men and women. He loves talking from a position where he talks and the world has to listen. That does not work - anymore.
Mayor Gavin Newsom feels that he has controll of the situation as far as Crime is concerned when he does not. The Cronies that surround him keep feeding him wrong information all the time.
As things stand today our San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) is dysfunctional.
The Mayor put down the SFPD and yet wants them to help him. It does not work like that.
It is critical that the Mayor works with San Franciscans and create Neighborhood Watch Groups and spend money to foster such groups.
It is Community Based Organizations that do good work with youth on the front lines linked to crime, violence, guns, and youth programs - that should get funded. The Mayor has cut their funding. Think about that!
The Mayor is doing most of the things ass backwards.
It is hurting those that should be on his side. He is listening to all the wrong people - all the time - and shutting out the right information and the models that work.
The Mayor must remember when he was Supervisor he did not really pay attention to crime, gun violence, killings, shootings, and the plight of youth. Now, suddenly as Mayor he wants to catch up.
As Mayor he did not get the mandate. He won by 4% - may be he lost because most of his support he got from Absentee Voters.
Right at this moment the Mayor is all got up with Same Sex Marriage.
The Majority of folks in America are straignt and do not like to be caught up with life style issues that really have nothing much to do with Quality of Life issues.
When it comes to Morals and Standards the Mayor is on the Wrong Side.
Health and Safety comes first and Mayor Gavin Newsom is interested in topics that are far from serving the majority of the constituents of San Francisco. We have a population of some 780,000 and thank God the majority are straight.
15% of our population is youth and in the Southeast Sector about 25% are youth and they are getting no help. The recreational centers are shut down and here the Mayor wants to spend money on Cameras. He has all his priorities all screwed up.
When he wants a breath of fresh air he flies to Chicago. We are the Foggy City not the Windy City - we have yet to be famous and known for the Button Man.
The people did not vote for Gavin Newsom to propagate Same Sex Marriage or for that matter to make San Francisco a MECCA for gays.
We have them here and will tolerate them as long as every one is treated fair. But if the Mayor pushes the buttons too far the results will not be too favorable.
The cameras are not working because most of them costs too much and are inferior when it comes to producing quality picture frames.
Now, if it take me to bring this fact to the Mayor's attention - I guess something is really wrong.
Quality Communication is broken down and the Mayor keep talking the talk but not walking the walk.
We have over 250 police officers LESS in San Francisco. Hundreds more want to retire. Most of the SFPD officers are fed up with the SISSY Mayor. That is what they tell me all the time.
We have NO Community Policing but do have a model that the Mayor does not want to implement.
We have a Mayor that loves to talk from both sides of his mouth.
We have had over 65 killings and the Mayor said 63 - who is providing him with the facts?
Again and again the Mayor is using Spin and Media to deceive the constituents of San Francisco.
