The Back Alley of Art Works Downtown,

D Street between 4th & 3rd Streets, San Rafael

SAN RAFAEL, CA. October 23, 2006. Art Works Downtown (http://www.artworksdowntown.org) presents its annual fundraiser, Thursday, November 9, 6-9 pm. in the back alley of Art Works Downtown, on D Street between 4th & 3rd Streets, San Rafael.

ArtRageous features a Parisian absinthe club theme, entertainer and torch singer Kim Nalley and her band creating the sensuous sounds of a bygone era, wine, and food by local restaurant legend Jay Yinger. A live auction will include vacation rentals, travel, high quality art, dinners, gift certificates, unique experiences, and more.

The event raises funds for Art Works Downtown which provides affordable workspace
and housing to artists, offers a formal gallery for Bay Area artists to exhibit their work, and offers classes for all ages in a wide range of media. Art Works also presents gallery exhibitions, lectures, readings, demonstrations, field trips, and open studios.
Ticket prices are $60 per person or $100 for reserved seating at a featured artist’s table.
