Bayview Hunters Point file suit against San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA)

by Francisco Da Costa
It has been some months now since we filed a suit in Sacramento against the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA). One Gloria Young the Clerk of the Board from City Hall is named. Of course the main culprit is Marsha Rosen who has done a lot to adversely impact thousands. Time will tell. Other called to question Sophie Maxwell, Dennis Herrera, and Aaron Peskin.
Often times poor people do not have the support and resources to fight the forces of evil. The constituents of Bayview Hunters Point are tenacious.

San Francisco is a Racist City and the mostly White Main Media is on the side of corrupt forces.
The Main Media did not support poor folks and failed to expose SF Redevelopment Agency (SFRA).

When we the constituents of Bayview Hunters Point collected 33,200 plus signatures to stall San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA) most people did not think we could do it. But, we did.

The SF Department of Elections certified our signatures.

Two weeks later Sophie Maxwell the District 10 Supervisor, the City Attorney Dennis Herrera, and Aaron Peskin the President of the SF Board of Supervisor - used some feeble law to invalidate our signatures and stop the process of the measure being put on the City wide ballot.

We, who worked so hard took the matter to Court led again by Brian O'Flynn the Irish Man who stood by a Black Community and did the Irish proud.

The signatures were collected City Wide - mostly by volunteers and towards the end we had to pay folks to collect signatures - so that we could exceed the cap and be on the safe side.

21,000 signatures was the cap but we collected 33,200 signatures - no mean feat. Forty percent plus of the signatures came from the affected area - the Bayview Hunters Point area.

Here is the suit for the world to read:
