Sophie Maxwell still does not get it and never will - T-third is not working!

by Francisco Da Costa
T-third Street Light rail is not working and Sophie Maxwell still does not get it. It is as if everything is fine - the woman must be on something. 45 minute delays are now the norm and people are forced to take cars and other means of transportation to work and school. So much for people taking Public Transportation and so much of a fail system that cost over $700 million.
People are suffering and no one cares about the people taking the T-third and getting to work and school very late. Now it is the norm to wait for the T-third for over 45 minutes.

Waiting on hubs that are already dirty and have to bins to collect garbage.

And then what is most disgusting is waiting for getting stuck in the tunnel and waiting for the green signal - far away from the station.

Over $178, 000 was spent on the hoopla and entertainment. You must see those MUNI workers wearing all sort of jackets, T-Shirts and so on bearing the logo of the T-third and not fully understanding that this Light Rail system is not working.

Linked to the T-third Light Rail is the Illinois Bridge and I thought it cost $15 million but I am now shocked to hear it cost $30 million plus. The bridge is too narrow. The Illinois Bridge is up 3rd Street and Marin Street.

The bridge was build so that the access vehicular traffic from 3rd Street could pass on this bridge. It is not working and once again more the $30 million of tax payers money - gone to waste.

Perhaps we can practice driving some cows on this bridge - befitting the name of Butchers' Town - that was what the area was named a long time ago.

Not far from this Illinois Bridge but under the waters are three conduits - they were built at great expense to lay transmission lines - but they cannot be used because water flooded the conduits.

Another one bites the dust - or is it the water.

Sophie Maxwell knows a lot about the bridge and the conduits. Millions of dollars wasted and the woman thinks all is fine. She is on the take and cannot admit mistakes - she must be right - and one cannot doubt her IQ.

San Franciscans have been kept in the dark and the sell outs mostly Black in the Bayview listen to the crap that spews from Sophie Maxwell mouth. Project after project has been a failure.

The T-third Light Rail is a failure and there is a signature campaign to collect as many signatures and demand a Town Hall meeting.

Now, the service is adversely affecting hundreds from the near by counties.

Buses take San Franciscans all the way to the Airport and beyond and always run on time.

We had the MUNI 15 Bus that ran on time and took us places.

Now we have a fancy train that moves slowly, gets stuck in the dark tunnel, is mostly late and does not take you places.

We need a Light Rail to take us down town San Francisco and not to the Castro.

We have wasted $700 million and have nothing to show for it. Our leaders do not know the way, cannot show the way , and will never go the way.
