Sacramento Peace & Justice Calendar Update for March/April

by Dan Bacher
There are many anti-war rallies, vigils, marches and other events taking place in the Sacramento area this week to mark the fifth anniversary of G.W. Bush's illegal war and occupation of Iraq. While the Bush administration started the war, the Democrats in Congress, who keep funding the war, are just as responsible for the continuing occupation of Iraq. We must get out in the streets and say no to the war and occupation. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and nearly 4,000 U.S. soldiers have died in the war so far - and we must stop the killing in a war and occupation based on Bush's lies!
