Pro-Choice Counter Protesters block anti-abortion Walk for Life in Washington D.C.

On Friday January 22, for the 2nd year in a row, a group of militant pro-choice counter protestors met religious right in the streets and stopped the march cold in the capital city. Hear one minute of audio from the streets. (1 minute)

Despite facing cold weather and a blockade of police “protecting” anti-choice marchers, counter protesters got out ahead of the marcher in the street and stopped them in their tracks. Street tactics included a “die-in” for all the women who die when prohibited from having an abortion they want or need.
